Hyosung is a South Korean motorcycles brand, active since the 1978. Headquartered in Changwon, a South East coastal Korean city, it is the leader in the home-country and distributed in 60 countries in the World.
Born as division of a large South Korean conglomerate, Hyosung motors started building motorbikes for Suzuki back in 1978. In the following years the travel of this brand was fall of up and down and changed ownership many time before to be definitively acquired by KR Motors Company Ltd. in the 2014. The current CEO is Mr. Sang Yong Sung.

The leadership in the domestic, South Korean market, is not enough, considering this market actually ranks as World’s 27th and is not growing. Strong operations in China have been dramatically hit by recent deep fall of this market and despite a wide coverage of international markets, the total sales volume is declining, while the pressure on traditional combustion engines makers is fast increasing in Asia.
